The Hostelrie was an ideal location for our family getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff. As a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere, which also included thoughtful touches for our dog, including cushioned beds and bowls. The nearby outdoor activities, from kayaking to cycling, were a hit with the kids. We had a memorable afternoon exploring the surrounding trails, and the local area offered plenty of options for adventure. Dining was enjoyable, with a solid breakfast and dinner, the homemade ice cream being a highlight. We opted for the three-course meal, which was good value at £34. The relaxing environment made it easy for us to unwind after our daily activities. We would consider returning for another family vacation.
